About the syllabus

BSIS classes run to a structured syllabus. Within each grade level, students study under a variety of instructors working from lesson plans.  Classes are planned to teach both techniques and an understanding of the principles underlying them.   Class notes are provided for those who want them.  Students can track their own progress in the grade level Log Book, so that they can ensure they have covered the entire content.  Because of this, students who cannot attend consistently are still able to progress.

Assessment opportunities occur at least once a term. Assessment is based on a standardised format in accordance with our aim to provide a consistent and comparable system.  Students are provided with written feedback.
