Keong Park | On the last Saturday of the month, an informal competition where combatants call their own hits. Open to all insured HEMAists. A great introduction to competition. |

| Southern Realm Festival
Aug 22 Saturday 9am-4pm & Sunday |
Boonah Showground, 12 Melbourne St, Boonah | We set up camp for the day at a buhurt and jugger festival. We will offer lessons to the public, do a few displays, and fill the rest of the day with whatever HEMA thing we want, fencing, learning from each other, etc. Sword Fighter will be joining us. Camping available.
Entry requires a ticket. Free tickets for us, apply here ASAP. On the Sunday Sword Fighter will be running the arena. If you’re not joining us at BYB (see below), consider joining Sword Fighter at Boonah. |

The Bracken Ridge lions throw a big event and we set up camp, fence each other, teach MANY people the basics (mainly kids) and put on a demo at the stage. Please come for whatever time you have spare. |

We set up camp for the weekend at a celebration of 40 years of the Abbey Museum of Art & Archaeology . We will fill the day with whatever HEMA thing we want, fencing, learning from each other, some low-key competition and some public classes. |
